Before Operation
Health Problems
Please inform us about your current health problems and medications you are using before the hair transplant operation. If you are experiencing any health problem, please consult your doctor who is following you about this problem before the operation and get his/her approval about the operation.
Medicines
After getting approval from your doctor, stop taking Aspirin and similar blood thinners 3 days before the operation.
2 days before the operation
Take care not to consume alcohol: You should avoid alcohol or narcotics at least one day before the operation, as they may interact with the drugs used during the operation (local anesthetics). Avoid smoking: Smoking reduces the blood flow to your scalp and can cause narrowing of the blood vessels and impede the growth of the transplanted hair. For this reason, try not to smoke from 1 day before the operation until 1 week after the operation.

Hair Washing and Desquamation
Hair should be washed 3 days after the operation and should be washed with warm water once a day for 15 days without interruption. Thus, at the end of the 12th day, the scabs will usually fall off.
Week One and Week Two
Step 1 – Lotion Application
The emollient lotion enhances the regeneration of skin cells, moisturizes the skin and softens peels.
Donor Area and Recipient Area: Lotion will be applied to both the transplanted and donor areas. Coat 7-8 drops of lotion on both areas with a light touch. Wait 1 hour and rinse during hair washing. Apply the lotion in the same direction as the transplanted grafts to avoid any damage. Note that you can use more lotion for the donor area.
Step 2 – Shampoo Application
Special medical shampoo is used to remove the crusts and help the healing process. After 45 minutes after applying the lotion, you can start washing as described.
Using the provided medical shampoo, create a lather between your hands and gently lather the donor and recipient area without rubbing or vigorous movements. Wait 2-3 minutes before rinsing.
Step 3 – Rinse
Wash your head gently with hot water (use first water). Pour some water on your head using a bowl (do not use a shower). It is important to rinse the shampoo thoroughly.
Step 4 – Drying
Do not use a towel to dry your hair. You should use a hair dryer in cold air mode and at a reasonable distance from your head.
If you still have some scabs, please apply 12-15 drops of lotion on the transplanted area and leave it for 2 hours. Then, wash it with the shampoo we provide and do a gentle massage to get rid of the scabs. Do this every day until the scabs disappear. Once the scabs are gone, you can stop using the lotion, but for the rest you need to wash your hair every day.
1 month after the operation, you will have passed the risky stage; you can go back to your normal life and use a towel. A reminder: Please send us photos of your head from different angles after following the washing instructions for the first week.
Post Operation Follow-up
Postoperative follow-up allowed the results to be much more permanent.
What will you experience periodically from the first day of hair transplantation? When will the hair grow after transplantation? When does itching stop after hair transplantation?
Hair Transplant Post-Operative Follow-up, First One Year
Immediately after the hair transplantation, the appearance of the grafts as slightly bloody red dots, swelling in the donor area, mild swelling in various parts of your face can be listed as the most common conditions you will encounter in this process. It is possible to say that all these are temporary complications that will heal naturally.
Within the first ten days after hair transplantation, the scabs formed by your scalp to start the healing process gradually fall off. With the disappearance of the red dot appearance, you will get an image as if you have shaved your hair. After this stage, your hair and scalp are in the healing process.
After the fifteenth day after hair transplantation, a period called “shock loss” may begin. This period intensifies towards the end of the first month and sometimes continues into the second month. In shock loss, you may lose almost all of your hair. However, you do not need to worry about this situation, the hair will grow back one by one with the healing process.
By the third month, shock shedding should be complete. Until the first three months, the scalp is still healing. This is why various tissue reactions (e.g. pimpling, itching, etc.) may occur. These are all important signs that healing is taking place. You should not use any products other than those recommended by your doctor during this period, and you should be very careful not to scratch your scalp.
The hair growth process, which usually accelerates from the fourth month onwards, reaches 50 to 60 percent of all hair by the end of the sixth month. The sixth month refers to a period in which complaints such as injury and irritation are almost completely eliminated and the hair focuses solely on growth.
By the end of the eighth month, most patients have 80 percent to 90 percent of their hair.
In some patients, the growth process is completely finished by the end of the first year, in others approximately six months later. This process is usually related to the structure of the patient’s scalp and the healing performance.
